§ 97324.1. Required Services

(a) The Intermediate Care Services Unit shall provide as a minimum the following required services: physician, intermittent nursing, dietary, pharmaceutical and an activity program. Such activity program shall be provided in accordance with the provisions of Sections 97321.95 through 97321.103.

(b) Written arrangements shall be made for obtaining all necessary diagnostic and therapeutic services prescribed by the attending physician, subject to the policies of the Institute. If the service cannot be brought into the Institute, the Institute or the Intermediate Care Services Unit shall assist the patient, if necessary, in arranging for transportation to and from the service location.

(c) Provision shall be made for dental examinations and dental treatments by a dentist as indicated by the needs of the patient.

(d) Arrangements shall be made for one or more physicians to be called in an emergency.
